Endometrial Ablation

If you have heavy periods, ablation may reduce or eliminate them. This procedure is the cauterization of the lining of the uterus. Dr. Benz can help you determine if this procedure is right for you.

Minimally Invasive Surgery

Laparoscopic surgery is used for many procedures of the uterus, tubes, and ovaries, including hysterectomy. Instead of a large abdominal incision, you may go home with three bandaids.

Fibroid & Ovarian Surgeries

Surgeries for uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and other gynecological conditions may be done by laparoscopy (small incisions) or laparotomy (larger incision) and may include just a fibroid or cyst, or may involve the uterus, ovary, or other structures.

Hysteroscopy

Dr. Benz may recommend an evaluation of the inside of your uterus to help diagnose problems with bleeding, polyps, or your IUD, for example. Anesthesia is available and recovery is fast.
